'McDaniels is a snake!': Colts fans react to Josh McDaniels getting fired by the Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders fired coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler early Wednesday, and Indianapolis Colts fans remain petty enough to thoroughly enjoy it.
They remember that McDaniels agreed to coach the Colts in 2018, then backed out of the deal at the last minute. The Colts subsequently hired Frank Reich, who coached the team 4+ years before getting fired in the middle of last season.
McDaniels had a 9-16 record in Las Vegas, but his contract has 4+ years remaining. The Colts beat the Raiders 25-20 last season, Indianapolis' last win of the season and its only win under interim coach Jeff Saturday.
McDaniels also coached the Denver Broncos 1+ seasons in 2009-10, compiling an 11-17 record.
Colts fans are smiling, at least a little, this morning.

While I would never be happy about someone losing their job. Mainly because entire families are involved. I keep thinking that:
1) The Colts dodged a bullet when McDaniels backed out of the HC job. &

Josh McDaniels’ head coaching career was truly one for the ages. Went to Denver and absolutely blew out the pipes of the franchise, left the Colts at the alter and then was even worse with the Raiders after inheriting a playoff team. We may never see a worse coach in our lives.
