MCC's Larrivee leads at NHGA Senior Championship
Sep. 6—Manchester Country Club's Dave Larrivee shot a 2-under-par 70 and emerged as the first-round leader on Wednesday at the New Hampshire Golf Association Senior Championship at Canterbury Woods.
Larrivee, the only player in the red, made four birdies and 12 pars. Playing in the tournament for the second time, Larrivee led Bob Kearney of Bretwood Golf Course by two strokes heading into Thursday's second and final round at Canterbury Woods.
Three golfers were tied for third at 73: Keith Stone of Pease Golf Course Online; Bob Mielcarz of Concord Country Club, and Phil Pleat of Nashua Country Club.
Four golfers came in at 76: Craig Steckowych of Portsmouth CC; Dan Arvanitis of Derryfield CC; Les Barton of the host course and Benjamin Budds of Candia Oaks.
