Max Buchanan, OL, Sanford Seminole, 2025
1The top player in the Sentinel’s 2025 Central Florida Super60 is Max Buchanan, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound versatile lineman at Sanford Seminole High. Buchanan can play every position up and down the line of scrimmage. He’s played mostly left tackle at Seminole, but he can also switch to either interior position at guard or center. He has great footwork and is well-versed in his hand technique. Buchanan holds his blocks through each play and he is as good protecting the passer in the pocket as he is pulling on sweeps and screen plays. He has 19 FBS scholarship offers with his top 11 being, alphabetically: Auburn, Clemson, Florida, FSU, LSU, Mars Hill, Miami, Ole Miss, Penn State, UCF, and West Virginia. Buchanan’s father, Jordan Buchanan, played at Mars Hill.
