Marshawn Lynch gives out 200 free turkeys in Hawaii prior to Thanksgiving

Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch may have been reserved in his interviews, but he’s quite generous off the field. Lynch proved as much Monday, as he gave away 200 free turkeys to Hawaii residents.

Lynch was captured on video walking in between cars while carrying turkeys. He even handed out a few.

Passengers seemed to notice it was Lynch handing out the birds. He’s a pretty recognizable guy, but the “Beast Mode” shorts might have given it away to anyone in doubt.

Marshawn Lynch has given back to his community many times

Away from the field, Lynch has established himself as someone who cares deeply for his community. Lynch, who grew up in Oakland, has purchased real estate in the area to combat gentrification, he bought a soul food restaurant to make sure it didn’t close and he helped Cliff Avril build a school in Haiti.

Lynch continued his charitable ways in April, handing out “Beast Mode” face masks to residents.

Lynch, 34, appeared briefly in the NFL last season. He played just one game with the Seahawks, rushing for 34 yards and a touchdown. While Lynch has returned to the NFL a number of times since retiring following the 2015 NFL season, it’s believed he’s retired for good now.
