'ManningCast' Week 9 guests: Arnold Schwarzenegger among appearances for Chargers vs. Jets

The "ManningCast" wasn't on to watch the Lions dismantle the Raiders last week, but it will be watching the Jets host the Chargers in East Rutherford for Week 9.

Tennessee alum Peyton Manning and Ole Miss alum Eli Manning will be on hand to see a good old-fashioned East Coast vs. West Coast showdown on Monday as the Jets look to move to 5-3 on the year and the Chargers attempt to get to .500 (and stay within some version of striking distance of the Chiefs).

Where there is a "ManningCast," there are high-profile guests — and this week is no exception. Leading the way is '80s action movie staple and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who got his announcement via a Peyton impression through some light bullying of Eli and a "Terminator" impression.

Schwarzenegger was, as always, a good sport about the horrendous impression.

The "ManningCast" is, of course, a counterpart to the primary broadcast featuring Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, in their second year of helming the "Monday Night Football" crew. Peyton and Eli are in their third season.

Who are 'ManningCast' guests in Week 9?

• Guest 1: Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor and politician

• Guest 2: Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars QB

• Guest 3: Keyshawn Johnson, former NFL wide receiver

Omaha Productions announced the full ManningCast guest list Monday, and it features some Hollywood star-power in addition to its former NFL players.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be the first guest on. The former governor of California, Schwarzenegger hails from Austria and was the eminent action movie star in the 1980s into the 1990s.

Schwarzenegger was announced Sunday before the NFL slate started.

The next guest will be Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence was a ready-made NFL prospect out of Clemson, having led the Tigers to a national championship in 2018. He made his first Pro Bowl last season, and is hoping to lead the Jaguars to a second straight AFC South title this year. Lawrence was part of the Jaguars' thrilling comeback win over the Chargers in the postseason last year.

Finally, former Jet and Buccaneer Keyshawn Johnson will be on the broadcast. Drafted by the Jets No. 1 overall in 1996, Johnson has connections to both sides, as he was raised in Los Angeles and played for USC. We'll have to tune in to see who he pulls for in this game.
