Madonna feeling 'blessed' on Thanksgiving as she posts rare family snap of all six children in Malawi

Madonna has shared a rare snap of her six children together as they celebrate Thanksgiving in Malawi.

The Material Girl singer is mum to six children, Lourdes, 22, Rocco, 17, Mercy, 13, David, 12 and six-year-old twins Estere and Stella.

On Thursday, Madonna posted a picture of her brood as she declared how “thankful” she was, and said nothing would ever equal “what she treasures and values most”.

She wrote: “What I am Most THANKFUL for! My Children have led me down roads and opened doors I never imagined I’d walk through.

“Fame, Fortune and Records Broken could never equal that which I treasure and value most. #blessed #grateful #family. Happy ThanksGiving from Malawi!”

Madonna adopted four of her children from Malawi, David in 2006, Mercy in 2009 and the twins most recently in 2017.

Madonna regularly post photos of her younger children, recently sharing snaps of the twins modelling for Adidas, but rarely shares a whole family photo.

Fans hailed the snap “beautiful” as they sent Thanksgiving messages to the “queen”.

One wrote: “That is so sweet my heart is melting. Happy Thanksgiving. Treasure these moments they are the best.. Love each other.”

Another said: “My QUEEN!!! Thank you Thank you for your dedication to the children. You are my inspiration.”

A third wrote: “Aw, wishing you and your beautiful children a happy, healthy and blessed Thanksgiving!! Eternally thankful for you and your music!!”

Madonna is among a handful of famous faces who have posted messages of thanks in celebration of the US holiday. Nicki Minaj helped to hand out over 500 turkeys in her hometown of Queens, New York while Kylie Jenner said she was thankful at being able to provide food for those in need.
