Minty Bets, Jared Quay & Liz Loza debate a few prop bets for Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season.

Video Transcript

MINTY BETS: Welcome to "Mad Bets," everyone. It is our weekly fantasy props segment. I'm Minty Bets here with Jared Quay and Yahoo fantasy analyst Liz Loza. Let's get started, guys. It's week seven. Let's go.

First fantasy prop is Derrick Henry over or under 99 and 1/2 rushing yards against the Steelers. Let's start with Liz.

LIZ LOZA: Oh, I love a good strength on strength prop. Let me tell you, the Steelers are obviously staunch, right? Allowing just 3.3 yards per carry to opposing rushers. They have yet to give up 100 rushing yards to a running back all season. The closest that someone came was Miles Sanders back in week five. He managed 80 rushing yards on 11 carries, but that was because he got lucky on a 74-yard run.

And, oh, what does King Henry do best? Unpredictable long runs. He is the physical manifestation of an anomaly. This is over.

MINTY BETS: Over? Oh my goodness. OK. Jared, what do you think?

JARED QUAY: I thought she was going under. I thought she was going under with the Steelers. I got to agree with Liz. Go with Liz. Whenever you're unsure, follow Liz and you'll be right.

The Steelers have an amazing run-stopping defense, but I don't know about the injury to Devin Bush and what that does. And I think that Ryan Tannehill will throw the ball well enough that they can't load the box against Derrick Henry. And if the Titans get a lead at any point in this game, second half is when Derrick Henry-- he might get that whole 99 yards on one play. I'm just saying.

MINTY BETS: All right, I'll have to disagree with you both. I actually like the under here. Like you said Liz, which was very misleading, the Steelers are only allowing 3.3 yards per carry and only three rushing touchdowns in five games. So I actually really like the under here. I think Pittsburgh's defense prevails.

Next up, fantasy prop number two is gonna be will Julio Jones score a touchdown against the Lions this week? Jared, let's start with you first.

JARED QUAY: Oh, man, Julio coming back alive there. The Atlanta Falcons looked good again. It almost looked like they were a team that could win football games. And I'd like to keep this train going.

I don't think the Lions defense is a world-beater. I think Matt Ryan is playing great, as Liz told us on "The Fantasy Rush." And so with that being the case, give me Julio Jones to score one, maybe even two, fantasy owners.

LIZ LOZA: Oh.

MINTY BETS: Wow. Liz, do you agree?

LIZ LOZA: I mean, this is a Desmond Trufant revenge game, baby. As long as he can stay healthy at least. Obviously, the Lions secondary is all sorts of banged up. And to date, they've allowed six scores to opposing wide receivers. But the run defense is actually a little more generous.

So after Julio showed out in week six clearing, just to remind everyone, 130 yards and finding the end zone twice-- what is up-- he's gonna command a little extra defensive attention. I still think he goes over 100 yards in this one, but I think the end zone probably belongs to Ridley and Gurley. So I will say under.

MINTY BETS: I actually like the over here. I think he'll score at least one touchdown. The Lions defense is allowing two passing touchdowns per game. So short and simple, I think Julio gets in the end zone here.

And let's go to fantasy prop number three, the last one. Who throws more touchdowns, Joe Burrow or Baker Mayfield? I think I'll start first. If you didn't know, I'm a big Joe Burrow guy, OK? I love him, love the Bengals.

But realistically, I think Baker is going to throw more touchdowns. And he has thrown more touchdowns. We've seen 11 passing touchdowns from the Browns versus six passing touchdowns from the Bengals. Liz, what do you think?

LIZ LOZA: I mean, I think you could talk about how both of these defenses have their issues or how back in week two Burrow passed for three scores and Mayfield only passed for two. But I think ultimately it comes down to the fact that one of these quarterbacks is being encouraged to throw the ball and the other one is being begged not to. This goes to Joe Burrow.

MINTY BETS: Oh, OK. Jared?

JARED QUAY: Yeah, I got to go with Burrow here too. I think Baker Mayfield has a more talented team, so it makes it a little easier. But I feel like Burrow is throwing the ball 40 times a game. He's getting his feet under him.

And I really like this game. If they get down, I think Burrow comes in late cover. I think he scores a couple of touchdowns in the fourth. So I'm gonna go Burrow.

MINTY BETS: OK, good stuff, everyone. Liz, thank you so much for joining. And, guys, be sure to check out "Fantasy Football Live" every Sunday before kickoff at 11:30 Eastern Time.
