Backup power generators have been switched on at several pumping stations to restore the city’s water supply.

The power outage has also knocked out a third of Lviv’s traffic lights, Sadovyi noted.

A mass missile attack struck numerous Ukrainian cities on the morning of Oct. 10, including the city center of Kyiv, the nation’s capital.
