Luke Kornet has been solid for the Boston Celtics, so why isn’t he playing more?

While the Vanderbilt product has not yet gotten the sort of run his teammate’s preseason hype might have made one think he would be getting, Boston Celtics reserve big man Luke Kornet has been more than a serviceable big off the bench for Boston early in their 2022-23 campaign.

The sharpshooting center’s unusual 3-point shot contesting technique from the paint may not endear him to many given how it has put him out of position to rebound. But Kornet has been solid in the run he has earned, and might just be enough with the rest of his teammates to bridge the gap until recuperating center Robert Williams III returns.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what the hosts of the “Vitamin Cs” podcast Adam Taylor and Tim Sheils had to say about Kornet’s play for the Celtics so far this season.
