Lu Dort becomes 7th Thunder player to score 20-plus points in a quarter

Whatever hip problem Lu Dort was dealing with before the Oklahoma City Thunder game against the Toronto Raptors has not been an issue.

Dort burst out for 21 points in the first quarter alone, making all seven field goals he attempted, five of which were from behind the arc. It breaks his previous quarter-high of 18 points, which he set on Tuesday as part of a 42-point performance against the Utah Jazz.

In the fist quarter of the game Sunday, Dort hit catch-and-shoots. He hit a pull-up coming up the court in transition. He drove to the hoop and hit with his off-hand.

With 21 points, he became the seventh player in team history to score 20 or more points in a single quarter, according to the Thunder.

Oklahoma City led 31-28 after the first quarter, and the lead was so light because Raptors had their own undrafted player going off.

Power forward Chris Boucher had 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting and a trio of 3-pointers.
