LSU vs. Kennesaw State baseball video highlights, score in 2022 NCAA Hattiesburg Regional

The Kennesaw State University and LSU baseball teams meet in the 2022 NCAA Tournament Hattiesburg Regional first round on Friday, June 3.

LSU defeated Kennesaw State 14-11.

LSU improved to 39-20 overall. Kennesaw State went to 35-27 overall.

LSU advances to face Southern Miss at 6 p.m. CT/7 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 4. Kennesaw State now goes against Army at noon CT/1 p.m. ET on Saturday.

LSU celebrates win

LSU left fielder Josh Pearson caught a pop-up by Kennesaw State's Nick Colina for the final out in the top of the ninth inning.

LSU's Dylan Crews 2-RBI double

LSU's Dylan Crews hit a double to left-center field in the bottom of the eighth inning that drove in Cade Doughty and Drew Bianco. Those two runs put LSU up 12-11 vs. Kennesaw State.

KSU's Tyler Simon 2-run home run

Kennesaw State shortstop Tyler Simon hit a two-run home run down the left-field line in the top of the fourth inning. Josh Hatcher also scored on the homer. Simon's home run put Kennesaw State up 7-4 vs. LSU.

LSU's Brayden Jobert 2-run home run

LSU's Brayden Jobert hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning over the right-field fence. Cade Doughty also scored on the homer. Jobert's homer cut the Kennesaw State lead to 5-4.

LSU's Dylan Crews RBI single

LSU's Dylan Crews singled to left field in the bottom of the second inning, and he drove in Tyler McManus. Crews' single put LSU up 2-1 vs. Kennesaw State.
