Louisiana football looks to build off a mountain of momentum it created last weekend.

The Ragin' Cajuns (2-1) return home to Cajun Field after a two-game road swing to battle Buffalo on Saturday night (6:30 p.m., ESPN+). And the Cajuns come in scorching hot after whopping UAB, 41-21, in Birmingham in Week 3.

Buffalo comes in having dropped its first three games on the season, which includes a loss to FCS team Fordham, 40-37 in Week 2. The Bulls do have a quality quarterback in Cole Snyder, who threw for more than 3,000 yards in 2022 but the absence of a run game and poor pass defense has bottled UB down so far in 2023.

If UL is going to carry the momentum off the UAB win, its going to have to navigate the injury bug. Starting senior quarterback Ben Wooldridge is out due to a foot injury he went down with last Saturday. Freshman Zeon Chriss is scheduled to get the first start of his career, and in relief of Wooldridge last week, he put up 277 total offensive yards with two TDs.
