A look at Casey Thompson’s 2021 situational stats

For the first under head coach Scott Frost, there will be a new gunslinger under center. Adrian Martinez left for the Big 12 and Kansas State while Casey Thompson left the Big 12 for Nebraska.

Thompson lost the starting job in camp to Hudson Card with the Texas Longhorns but quickly earned the job where he remained through the remainder of the season.

His new task is to help rebuild the Cornhuskers in 2022 and keep Frost off of the hot seat. He will have a new supporting cast in Lincoln led by former LSU Tigers WR Trey Palmer.

As the season approaches, Huskers Wire breaks down the redshirt junior quarterback’s situational stats. All statistics courtesy of Stats Perform.
