LIVE UPDATES! Indiana Sectional Football Championship night

We've reached championship night as South Bend area high school football teams will be competing for sectional titles in Indiana and district titles in Michigan.

There are eight sectional championships in Indiana tonight and one in Michigan, with another final to the north scheduled for Saturday.

The Tribune will have live coverage from four games.

Writer Anthony Anderson and photographer Greg Swiercz will be covering the action from Freed Field as Penn (9-1) host Warsaw (9-1) in the Class 6A Sectional 2 showdown. Austin Hough will be in Middlebury at Interra Field to cover all the action as Northridge (9-2) hosts NorthWood (9-2) in the Class 4A Sectional 18 finale. Writer John Fineran and camerman Michael Caterina will be in Lakeville as the Lancers (10-1) host Bremen (6-5) in the Class 2A Sectional 33 final. Writer Scott Davidson will be at Lawrence J. Jackowiak Field in Dunlap as the Minutemen (6-4) host Mishawaka (8-2) in the Class 5A Sectional 11 championship.

Penn 31, Warsaw 10, final

What: Class 6A-Sectional 2 championship.

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., Everwise Credit Union Freed Field, Mishawaka.

Series: Penn leads 7-1 but Warsaw won 35-19 on Nov. 8, 2019 for sectional championship.

Mishawaka 20, Concord 14, final

What: Class 5A-Sectional 11 championship.

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., Lawrence J. Jackowiak Field, Dunlap

Series: Mishawaka leads 6-2 after winning Northern Lakes Conference home game 31-7 on Oct. 6.

NorthWood 17, Northridge 14, final

What: Class 4A-Sectional 18 championship.

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., Interra Field, Middlebury.

Series: NorthWood leads 36-8 but Northridge won Northern Lakes Conference battle 25-21 on Sept. 8 in Nappanee.

LaVille 28, Bremen 14, final

What: Class 2A-Sectional 33 championship.

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., Lancer Field, Lakeville.

Series: Bremen leads 25-9 but LaVille won 17-10 in season opener Aug. 18 at Bremen.
