SOUTH BEND — Important games are on the South Bend-area high school football docket for this Friday night as
South Bend Tribune High School writer Austin Hough is covering South Bend Riley at New Prairie as the Wildcats look to stay undefeated against their stiffest competition yet. Correspondents John Fineran and John Mersits head north of the Michigan-Indiana border for resurgent Dowagiac at Brandywine.

Staff writer Scott Davidison is at Freed Field as Penn hosts South Bend Saint Joseph while correspondent Anthony Anderson and photographer Greg Swiercz are in Nappannee for a key NLC battle between host NorthWood and conference leader Mishawaka.
