Live Scoreboard: UWF football starts conference play with home game against West Georgia
Whatever offense the University of West Florida football team was lacking in Week 3 at Florida A&M University, it's easy to say the Argos made up for it against the University of West Georgia on Saturday.
Leading by a large margin at halftime, the Argos coasted to a 49-21 victory over the Wolves at Pen Air Field to open UWF's conference schedule with a win. Peewee Jarrett threw for 298 yards before being rested in the third quarter with the score deficit. Receiver John Jiles, who caught two touchdowns, caught 175 of those yards.

'Too much to handle': UWF football coach Kavell Conner brought in a new defensive structure. And so far, it's working
The defense forced turnovers early to keep West Georgia off the board, but once the second string defense was put in late in the game, the Wolves took advantage. They scored twice late on back-to-back drives. However, a late stop after West Georgia was spotted on UWF's 6-yard line sealed the game.
There was a lot of pressure on West Georgia quarterbacks, but the Argos were only able to reach Cameran Brown a couple times. The four-man front defense, for the most part, displayed it's relentless ability to get to the backfield.
