Friday night scores: See results from Week 3 high school football games
Lake and Sumter counties have plenty of games on the docket for Friday Night Lights.
Hopefully high school football teams here won't have to contend with bad weather as has been a problem early in the season so far in Florida.
A few local teams are on the road for Week 3. First Academy of Leesburg is set to play at Lakeland Santa Fe Catholic, and Mount Dora Christian Academy was to make the trip to Gainesville to face P.K. Yonge. Umatilla is at Lake Alfred Discovery.
UPDATE: Bad weather spoiled MDCA's trip to Gainesville; the game with P.K. Yonge was cancelled.
