Game recap: Indianapolis Colts lose to Jacksonville Jaguars on the road, 37-20

The Colts and Jaguars are both 3-2 coming into today's AFC South showdown.

Jacksonville has won eight straight games at home against Indianapolis. The last time the Colts won on the road against the Jaguars came in 2014.

With rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson on injured reserve with an AC joint sprain, Gardner Minshew will start against his old team.

Gardner Minshew completed 33 of 55 pass attempts (60%) and threw 1 touchdown but added 3 interceptions. Zack Moss led the team in rushing yards with 21. Jonathan Taylor had 19 yards on 8 carries. Michael Pittman caught 9 passes for 109 yards.

Zaire Franklin led the defense with 9 total tackles. Kenny Moore II had 3 tackles for loss.

On 4th and 5 from the Jacksonville 15, Gardner Minshew targeted Michael Pittman in the end zone, but it was picked off by Darious Williams. It was Minshew's third INT of the day.

After Josh Downs scored his first career touchdown, another rookie, JuJu Brents, had his first career interception.

On 4th down and goal from the 2-yard line, Gardner Minshew threw a pass to Josh Downs, who was waiting on the left side of the end zone. That is Downs' first career TD.

Trevor Lawrence completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Brenton Strange on 3rd and goal. It capped off a drive that lasted 9 plays and went 69 yards.

Jacksonville punted on its first drive of the half. Indianapolis got the ball at its own 24-yard line and moved it to the 37. On 1st and 10, Gardner Minshew threw an interception to Rayshawn Jenkins.

Gardner Minshew has had some throws that were nearly picked off today. On 2nd and 10 at the Jacksonville 30-yard line, Minshew was finally intercepted. Andre Cisco had the interception.

After Travis Etienne's touchdowns, both teams have punted twice. On the most recent drive, Trevor Lawrence was sacked by DeForest Buckner.

Indianapolis' second drive lasted just one play. Josh Allen hit Gardner Minshew to force a fumble, which Jacksonville recovered.

On the first play for the Jaguars at the Colts' 22-yard line, Travis Etienne received a direct snap and ran it in for the touchdown. The Jags scored both of their touchdowns within 16 seconds of the other.

Jacksonville has taken the lead after a 2-yard touchdown run by Travis Etienne. Trevor Lawrence completed 3 of 4 pass attempts on that drive for 34 yards. Etienne had 5 carries for 24 yards.

Trevor Lawrence got the Colts' defense to jump on two plays. Using a hard count, Indianapolis was flagged for neutral zone infractions. DeForest Buckner was called for the first one and then Dayo Odeyingbo was flagged for the other.

The Colts offense moved the ball down the field after starting the drive at their own 25-yard line. It was topped off by Matt Gay's 28-yard field goal, which marks his 24th consecutive road field goal.

Gardner Minshew was sharp, completing 9 of 11 pass attempts for 56 yards. Zack Moss had 3 receptions for 17 yards.

Shane Steichen made a gutsy play call on 4th and 1 on the Jacksonville 43-yard line. Instead of trying to drawing the defense offsides, Minshew completed a 3-yard pass to Moss to get the 1st down and keep the drive alive.
