LIVE: Coverage of the CIF-SS football semifinals
It's the semifinal round of the CIF-SS high school football playoffs, highlighted by a rivalry showdown in the Conejo Valley. There are three games involving area teams on Friday night — Division 3: St. Bonaventure at San Juan Hills; Division 5: Thousand Oaks at Newbury Park; and Division 6: Huntington Beach at Simi Valley.

Seraphs to host Div. 3 final
St. Bonaventure will host Warren, which defeated Chaminade 36-35 in overtime, in the Division 3 championship game next Friday.
Pioneers to hit road for Div. 6 final
After two straight playoff wins at home, Simi Valley will play on the road for Division 6 title game. Will play at Mira Costa, which beat Murrieta Mesa 34-24, next Friday.
Panthers to host Div. 5 final
Newbury Park gets to stay at home for Division 5 title game next Friday. Will play Orange Vista, which beat Anaheim-Western 63-46.
Three times the fun
Ventura County has three teams who will play for CIF-SS football championships next Friday: St. Bonaventure (Div. 3), Newbury Park (Div. 5) and Simi Valley (Div. 6).

Simi Valley to play for Div. 6 title
