Lions' Jamaal Williams headlines early pickups for Week 13

Yahoo Sports' Andy Behrens offers three early pickups for this upcoming week, including a Detroit RB, a RB in Buffalo and a WR in Indy.

- The week 13 pick ups are going to have kind of an old timers day theme. I'm talking about a bunch of familiar faces, familiar names. Let's start with Jamaal Williams in Detroit. D'Andre Swift, one of the big injuries from week 12, suffered a shoulder sprain. We don't know, as of this moment, exactly how much time he might miss.

We do know that Jamaal Williams is the direct replacement. He handled 20 touches on Thanksgiving, over 80 total yards. He's a perfectly serviceable running back, somebody who can definitely finish as an RB2, assuming he gets that full workload.

Also, Matt Breida has clearly surged past Zack Moss in Buffalo. He's not getting a ton of work, necessarily. But this is three touchdowns in his last three games. And it's Buffalo. This is an offense that scores about 30 points a week. You want to be tied to that.

One last name I'll toss out there, Ty Hilton, the veteran. He's healthy right now. No, he's no longer the number one receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, I'll give you that. But he does have Houston coming up on the schedule.

And this man has delivered almost 20% of his lifetime production against the Houston Texans. He absolutely owns that team. And listen, Hilton found the end zone against the Bucs in week 12. He's a good bet to score again in week 13.
