Lenawee County sports May 6-11

We're fully in May now and the school year and spring seasons are nearing an end.

Here's a look at Lenawee County sports for the week of May 6-11:

MONDAY

Baseball

Adrian at Ypsilanti (DH)

The Maples pulled a half-game ahead of Tecumseh for first in the SEC White as they swept Ypsilanti, 17-0 and 18-0.

Sean Parker tossed a no-hitter in Game 1, striking out eight, while Solomon Hiatt went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and three RBIs. Gary Kemerer added a double.

Tristan Hayes tossed a no-hitter as well, striking out six in Game 2. Hayes also had two hits, as did DJ Ott, while Hiatt added a double.

Pinckney at Tecumseh (DH)

Tecumseh split the first two games of the SEC White series, winning 5-1 in Game 1 before falling 4-2.

Tyler Clement went 6.2 innings and gave up a run and struck out three in the win while Max Bledsoe was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run. Clement was 2-for-3 with an RBI, Ramiro Perez was 2-for-2 and Rocco Williams hit a double with a run.

Logan Smith took the loss in Game 2 while Bryan Covel and Perez each had two hits.

Blissfield 7, Summerfield 0

BLISSFIELD — The Royals won a non-league game, beating the Bulldogs in a shutout.

Dove Eitzen got the win with a complete game, allow three hits while striking out four. Ethan Stines went 4-for-4 with a triple and a double while Kipp Fisher was 3-for-3.

Lenawee Christian 5, Waldron 3

ADRIAN — The Cougars got a non-league win as they beat Waldron at home.

Gabe Miller went 2-for-2 with two RBIs while Zyan Breznik tossed 2.2 shutout innings, allowing one hit and a walk while striking out five.

Madison at Jackson Northwest (DH)

The Trojans split a non-conference doubleheader with the Mounties, losing 5-4 before taking the nightcap, 4-3.

Cam Grof took the loss in Game 1 before Norman Frederick got the start in Game 2 before Brian Dopp got the win in relief.

Dopp struck out five in in three innings while also collecting two hits, including a triple, and driving in two runs. Frederick also had two hits with an RBI.

Addison at Jonesville (DH)

The Panthers lost both Games 1 and 2 of the three game Cascades West Division set to the Comets, 11-2 and 13-3.

Drew Spink went 4.2 innings and gave up 10 runs (two earned), on five hits and four walks while striking out seven in Game 1 before Jacob Wright took the Game 2 loss.

Litchfield at Morenci (DH)

The Bulldogs dropped a pair of non-league games to Litchfield, 5-2 and 8-1.

Jonas Castillo took the loss with eight strikeouts while also recording two hits with a double in Game 1 while Zachary Stevens hit a double as well.

Stevens added two more hits in Game 2 while Blake Moran took the loss.

Softball

Pinckney at Tecumseh (DH)

Tecumseh picked up two big SEC White wins as it swept the Pirates, 12-11 and 14-3.

Tecumseh rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh in Game 1, capped with a two-run single for Lucy Whelan as she went 5-for-6 with two triples, two RBIs and three runs. Lauren Kilbarger had four hits and two RBIs while Jessie Wilkinson had two hits and an RBI, Natalie Petty had two with three RBIs and Wendy Ketola had two hits and two runs.

Emma Leitner got the win in relief.

Game 2 the bats kept rolling Wilkinson going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and three runs, Emma Eldred going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs, Kilbarger added three more hits, Leitner had two and Bella Juozapaitis went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Ella Sattler got the win as she went five innings and gave up three runs, on seven hits and a strikeout.

Pittsford at Morenci (DH)

Morenci swept Pittsford in a pair of mercy wins, 14-0 and 12-2.

Addyson Valentine got the win in both, striking out 18 and giving up five hits across the two games.

Ella Pierce and Gracie Snead each had two hits in Game 1 while Avery Varga doubled in Game 2.

Addison at Jonesville (DH)

The Panthers dropped a pair of Cascades Conference West Division games, falling to the Comets 15-6 and 14-3.

Lexi and Laci Patterson both hit a double while Keira Wheaton took the loss in Game 1. Laci Patterson hit a solo home run in Game 2 as Olivia Speelman took the loss.

Lacrosse

Tecumseh 13, Ypsilanti Lincoln 2

ADRIAN — Tecumseh boys celebrated at Siena Heights as it topped Lincoln by 11 goals to claim a share of back-to-back SEC White championships.

With Dexter falling to Pinckney last week, it allowed Tecumseh to pull within a tie with the Dreadnaughts after snapping a four-game skid.

Ann Arbor Pioneer 14, Tecumseh 4

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh girls fell to Pioneer in SEC competition.

Jazzy Reau had two goals while Cheyenne Bruner and Alexis Miller each scored as well.

Girls Soccer

Clinton 8, Blissfield 1

BLISSFIELD — The Redwolves are nearing yet another LCAA title after a convincing win against the Royals.

Aubrey Lauer had seven goals and assist while Aby Ureche had the other goal and an assist. Allison Bowles had two assists while Anna Schaffner, Lillian Trubiano, Makayla Whitehead all had an assist and Jacklyn Whiting made 11 saves.

Adrian 2, Pinckney 1

PINCKNEY — The Maples have found their groove, winning a third-straight SEC White win as they topped the Pirates.

Tatum Borton and Jaleigh Niese scored with Sydney Hunter getting an assist and Lily Hassan making seven saves.

Tecumseh 3, Jackson 2

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh snapped a three-game winless streak as it beat the Vikings in SEC White play.

Brook Stark scored twice while Kylie Trevino had a goal and an assist and Makayla Schlorf made six saves.

Onsted 3, Ida 2

ONSTED — The Wildcats picked up their eighth win of the season as they beat the Bluestreaks in LCAA play.

The eight wins is the most Onsted has had since least 2009.

Girls Tennis

Adrian 6, Tecumseh 2

ADRIAN — The Maples defeated their rivals once again this season with six wins.

Anayah Yoder, Izzy Morris and Maya Awad all got singles wins for Adrian while Ryan Kominek and Renee Awad, Grace Smart and Caroline Hofflander and Kirsten Hess and Emma Pino all won in doubles.

WEDNESDAY

Track and Field

Lenawee Christian, Sand Creek at Summerfield

The Sand Creek boys and girls picked up three big TCC wins as the Aggies swept Lenawee Christian, Summerfield and Emmanuel Christian. LCS teams went 0-3 on the day.

Tanana Emmendorfer won the 200 (27.36), 400 (1:00.80) and discus (111-feet-6.5-inches) for Sand Creek while Lainey Johnston won the high hurdles (18.99) and the high jump (4-10). Faith Beardmore won the pole vault (8-0).

Caleb Johnson won the 800 (2:13.12) for the Aggies' boys while Silas Daniels won the 3,200 (12:00.82). Connor Pickens, Corbyn Pinsoneault, Josh Russell and Ryan Meszaros won the 4x100 (46.23) while Johnson joined Pickens, Pinsoneault and Russell to win the 4x400 (3:54.25).

Harley Sharrock won the shot put (44-9.5) for the Sand Creek boys.

Izzy Brooks won the 800 (2:27.84) and 1,600 (5:18.60) while Gigi Masters won the 100 (13.30) for the LCS girls. Joel Lange won the 1,600 (4:52.11) for the boys. Masters and Brooks were joined by Ila Stewart and Elizabeth Cameron to win the 4x400 (4:41.39).

Easton Boggs won the discus (132-4) for the boys while Brenner Powers won the long jump (19-3).

Hudson at Madison

The Hudson and Madison boys tied, 68-68, while the Madison girls won 93-44 in a pair of LCAA duals.

Jillian Kendrick won the 100 (13.26) for the Madison girls while Ashlyn Hill won the 800 (2:43.14), Elizabeth Hacker won the 1,600 (6:06.06), Emily Murry won the high hurdles (18.36), Tatum Wilson won the intermediate hurdles (51.90) and Nevaeh Parish won the long jump (15-4.75)

Christiana Allen, Madaline Goldmeyer, Parish and Kendrick won the 4x100 (51.54) while Allen, Goldmeyer and Wilson were joined by Morgan Bennice-Carol Byles to win the 4x200 (1:53.33). Kendrick, Wilson and Goldmeyer were joined by Alisia Loredo to win the 4x400 (4:27.28) and Loredo, Hill, Hacker and Juliana Leonard won the 4x800 (11:24.29).

Dominic Velasquez won the 100 (11.83) and 200 (24.15) and Trenton Fetter won the 1,600 (4:52.03) and 3,200 (10:41.85) for the Madison boys and Jalonn Bordres won the high hurdles (16.66) and the pole vault (12-0).

Velasquez and Borders were joined by Santiago Loredo and Wade Garza to win the 4x100 (46.17) while Krys Ramirez, Wyatt Snyder and De'Lante Garrison joined Loredo to win the 4x200 (1:38.45).

Aiden Lopinski won the 400 (54.79), Isaac St. John won the 800 (2:13.00) and Grayson Bills won the intermediate hurdles (44.13) for the Hudson boys. Colton Natale won the shot put (39-5.5), Jacob Pickford won the discus (100-7), Jack McMillion won the high jump (5-2) and Brennan Marshall won the long jump (19-5.5).

St. John, Bills and Lopinski were joined by Gage Mannarino to win the 4x400 (3:50.08) while St. John and Mannarino were joined by Angelo Moreno and Alex Czeiszperger to win the 4x800 (9:01.12).

Naika Rath won the 200 (27.10) and 400 (1:03.59) for Hudson while Annabelle Czeiszperger won the 3,200 (14:47.02) and the pole vault (8-6), Ellie Loar won the shot put (32-1), McKenzie Daugherty won the discus (106-2) and Emmalin Rodifer won the high jump (4-10).

Onsted at Hillsdale Tri

The Onsted boys beat Hillsdale and Dundee while the girls both fell to the Hornets and Vikings in LCAA duals.

Mitchell Hiatt won the 1,600 (4:28.62) and 3,200 (10:07.25) while Aidan Paquin won the 100 (11.58) and intermediate hurdles (42.87) and Griffin Amthor won the 200 (23.25), Hunter VanZandt won the 400 (54.02) and Ethan Grulke won the 800 (2:07.75). Carson Garrison won the shot put (41-1.50), Mason Chesser won the high jump (6-2) and Joey Denkins won the pole vault (11-6).

Logan Irwin, Chesser, VanZandt and Cannon Ruttkofsky won the 4x400 (3:36.43) while Hiatt, VanZandt, Grulke and James Bayes won the 4x800 (9:39.01).

Emmry Ross won the 400 (56.88), 800 (2:13.66) and 1,600 (5:03.17) while Alison England won the 3,200 (13:38.62). Izzy Cunningham, Lillie Sell, Emme VanZandt and Hadley Ross won the 4x200 (1:56.97) while Emmry and Hadley Ross were joined by Raegan Brosamer and England to win the 4x800 (10:09.70).

Blissfield, Clinton at Ida

The Clinton boys got a pair of LCAA wins while the Blissfield girls split with a win against the Redwolves and a loss to Ida. The Royals boys and Clinton girls each went 0-2.

Brenden Benschoter won the 100 (11.81), 200 (24.12) and long jump (18-6) to lead the Redwolves boys. Mason Brodie won the shot put (50-7) and discus (152-4) while Gabe Manchester won the 3,200 (11:00.04) and Elijah Turner won the high jump (5-8). Angel Rubio, Luis Pratt and Nick Spicer joined Benschoter to win the 4x100 (46.41) while Turner, Piatt, Lucas Goodman and Eric Ramsey won the 4x400 (3:45.50).

William Marks won the 1,600 (4:42.70) for the Blissfield boys while Braedyn Tennant won the intermediate hurdles (40.03). Marks was joined by Jackson Vandenbusche, Ian Waddell and Evan Vore to win the 4x800 (8:46.92).

Samantha Coots won the 800 (2:28.60) for the Clinton girls while Kaylie Livingston won the discus (105-8) and Morgan Hill won the high jump (4-10). Summer Chandler, Katelyn Baker, Madelyn McGraw and Ashlynn Phillips won the 4x100 (54.21).

Layla Smith won the 100 (13.44) for the Blissfield girls while Hope Miller won the 1,600 (5:17.97) and Hailey Sills won the 3,200 (12:39.49). Miller and Sills were joined by June Miller and Natalie Benitez to win the 4x800 (10:58.89).

Britton Deerfield, Morenci at Whiteford

Whiteford swept its home TCC tri by beating both the Britton Deerfield and Morenci boys and girls while the BD boys and Morenci girls both got wins against each other.

Leah Rorick won the 400 (1:04.34) and the high hurdles (17.13) for the Morenci girls while Emma Williams won the 100 (13.74) and Colbie Ekins won the intermediate hurdles (53.06). Jillian Borton and Kiana Castillo joined Williams and Ekins to win the 4x100 (54.72) while Rorick joined Borton, Castillo and Williams to win the 4x200 (1:55.18). Castillo, Ekins, Williams and Rorick also won the 4x400 (4:25.87).

Baseball

Britton Deerfield at Morenci (DH)

The Patriots won a pair of TCC road games by beating the Bulldogs, 12-0 and 9-2.

Logan Smith went 4-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs in Game 1 while Caden Kubacki went 2-for-2 with three runs and an RBI and Caden Freeman went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run. Logan Shiels got the win tossing four shutout innings, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out seven.

Ryan Good went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in Game 2 while Keegan Bush went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run and Luke Wiser went 2-for-4. Bush got the win going four innings and giving up an unearned run, on a hit and a walk with four strikeouts.

Zachary Stevens had two hits for Morenci while Talan Kruse hit a double and Landon Hobbs took the loss in Game 1. Kruse took the loss in Game 2.

Sand Creek at Erie Mason (DH)

The Aggies won a pair of TCC games on the road, beating the Eagles, 16-1 and 10-9.

Jordan Illenden had two hits and an RBI in Game 1 while Jacob Kaufman went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs and Reid Hulett got the win going three innings and giving up a run, on a hit and no walks while striking out six.

Illenden recorded three more hits in Game 2 while Carson Preston had two with three RBIs and Andon Sutherland was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Ivan Wilkinson got the win.

Adrian 16, Ypsilanti 0, 3 inn.

YPSILANTI — The Maples finished the SEC White sweep by dominating the Grizzlies in Game 3.

Julius Robichaud went 2-for-3 with a triple and a double while striking out six in the win on the mound. Sean Parker and Adam Parker each hit triples as well.

Dundee at Onsted (DH)

The Wildcats split a doubleheader with the Vikings, winning 4-2 before falling 8-7.

Xavier Gibbs got the win going 5.1 innings and allowing two unearned runs, on two hits and three walks while striking out 13. Alex Schmidt went 2-for-3 with three RBIs while Quinn Hiram and Rhett Micallef each hit a double.

JT Hill went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs in Game 2 and got the start going four innings and giving up six runs (two earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out five. Luke Manders and Talan Hutchinson each had two hits.

Pinckney 4, Tecumseh 3, 9 inn.

PINCKNEY — Tecumseh dropped its first SEC White series, losing the Game 3 rubber match in extra innings.

Rocco Williams gave up three runs, on six hits and no walks while striking out four in eight innings. Connor Adamski took the loss. Williams went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI.

Max Bledsoe went 2-for-4 with two RBIs while Eli Bagby was 2-for-4 as well.

Hanover Horton 4, Addison 0

ADDISON — The Panthers dropped Game 3 of their Cascades Conference West Division series.

Jaxen Sword hit a double while Logan Jewell had two hits and Jacob Wright took the loss.

Lenawee Christian at Summerfield (DH)

The Cougars dropped a pair of TCC games, falling to the Bulldogs 11-0 and 17-4.

Zyan Breznik and Tyler Salenbien had two hits each in Game 1 with Breznik taking the loss. Breznik hit a double in Game 2 while Blake Drogowski had two hits while Zane Cherfan took the loss.

Softball

Britton Deerfield at Morenci (DH)

The Bulldogs rolled to a pair of TCC wins, 26-0 and 15-0.

Addyson Valentine won both with no hits and 12 strikeouts in five innings pitched.

Evelyn Joughin had four hits with six RBIs and a triple, Rowan Shaffer had three hits and Savanna Miles had two hits with a triple and four RBIs.

Tecumseh 11, Ann Arbor Skyline 0, 5 inn.

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh had 12 hits, four for extra bases, as it won its SEC crossover game.

Lauren Kilbarger hit a two-run home run while Wendy Ketola went 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBIs and two runs while Natalie Petty hit a triple with an RBI. Bella Juozapaitis went 3-for-3 with two RBIs while Ella Sattler got the win.

Madison at Summerfield (DH)

The Trojans topped their former TCC foes with a sweep, 9-1 and 12-3.

Camylie Sower won Game 1 as she allowed an unearned run, on five hits and four walks while striking out seven. Caylan Sower went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and five RBIs while Micajah Briggs was 3-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBIs. Roni Flores had two hits with a double while Jamairah Powers and Kalexiana Wrest each had two hits.

Briggs got the win in Game 2, allowing three runs, on five hits and four walks while striking out eight. Powers had three hits with two doubles and a triple and two RBIs.

Flores had three hits, Mya Solis had two as did Camylie Sower while Caylan Sower added a double, triple and two RBIs to her day and Jazlyn Zaszczurynski went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Sand Creek at Erie Mason (DH)

The Aggies split a TCC doubleheader, falling 12-11 and winning 12-11.

Claire Pickens had three hits including a home run in Game 1 while Emma Pifer had three hits as well. Carley Allen hit a three-run home run.

Sand Creek trailed by five runs in the seventh in Game 2 before a rally won it with a walk-off from Allen, which added to her four-hit game with two RBIs. Makenna Wheeler and Pickens each had three hits while Scout Robinson, Sydney Marks and Maddie Osburn all had two hits.

Dundee at Onsted (DH)

The Wildcats dropped a pair of LCAA games, 23-3 and 10-0.

Hannah Hill hit a double and scored twice in Game 1. Ashlynn Wilson had two hits on the day.

Monroe 15, Adrian 4

ADRIAN — The Maples dropped their SEC crossover.

Elaine Gordon went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI while Mikayla Phillips hit a triple and Kavonna Galloway and Lexi Fox each hit doubles.

Addison at Napoleon (DH)

Addison dropped a pair of Cascades games to the Pirates, 16-1 and 11-4.

Laci Patterson went 2-for-2 with a double and triple in Game 1 while Nevaeh Edison went 2-for-2 with a double. Kiera Wheaton took the loss. Edison went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Game 2 while Lexi Patterson went 2-for-4 with two runs and Olivia Speelman took the loss.

Girls Soccer

Adrian 7, Jackson 1

JACKSON — Adrian picked up another SEC White victory behind a scoring outburst from Tatum Borton.

Borton scored six goals while the Vikings allowed an own goal as well. Sienna Gauna had three assists while Jaleigh Niese had one and Lily Hassan made four saves.

Onsted 3, Jackson Northwest 2

ONSTED — The Wildcats picked up a non-conference win and their third-straight victory.

Onsted is 9-6 on the season.

Chelsea 7, Tecumseh 0

CHELSEA — Tecumseh fell in a shutout against the Bulldogs in SEC White play.

Chelsea remains two points ahead of Adrian in the SEC White standings.

Girls Tennis

Adrian 7, Ypsilanti 1

YPSILANTI — The Maples picked up a league win by taking 7-of-8 matches from the Grizzlies.

Maya Awad, Caroline Hofflander and Clara Memon won in singles play while Ryan Kominek and Renee Awad won in doubles play. The rest of Adrian's wins came by forfeit.

Boys Golf

East Jackson Invite

Grant Simpson was the medalist at the East Jackson Invite, including an eagle on the 16th hole to pull ahead and finish with a 72.

Tecumseh shot a 328 as a team, five behind Jackson Northwest.

LCAA Jamboree at Hudson

Clinton's Jacob Rothman was second overall at the third LCAA Jamboree at Evergreen Golf Course with a round of 39 while Dundee won the team event, shooting 162.

Rothman's 39 was only outdone by Dundee's Carter Bahn's 36.

Blissfield was second at 170 and sits a point behind the Vikings in the LCAA standings. Ida was third (171) followed by Hillsdale (173), Onsted (174), Clinton (177), Hudson (178) and Madison (179).

The Royals' Gabe Schnoor shot a 40 to tie for third with Jayden Holly of Madison and two others. Clinton's Brandon Ruhl, Onsted's Connor Szul and Hudson's Austin Marry tied for seventh while Onsted's Jayden Valasek tied with five others for 10th.

THURSDAY

Track and Field

SEC White Championships at Pinckney

Both the Adrian boys and girls took third at the SEC White championships while the Tecumseh boys were fourth and the girls were sixth.

Chelsea boys won the SEC White while Pinckney took the girls title.

Matthew Canales won the 800 (1:57.73), Isaiah Fox won the high hurdles (15.51) and Radon Love won the shot put (44-11) for the Maples boys while Sophy Skeels won the 1,600 (5:09.83) and Ayda Skeels won the 3,200 (11:26.95).

AJ Bryan won the 100 (11.32) for the Tecumseh boys while Max Danley won the intermediate hurdles (41.81) and Declan Cornish won the high jump (6-4). Bryan and Danley and Cornish were joined by Alex Lichtner to win the 4x100 (45.96).

Lacrosse

Tecumseh 8, Ann Arbor Pioneer 7, OT

TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh boys capped the regular season with a record 9-6 after beating Pioneer in an SEC crossover game.

Tecumseh will take on Brownstown Woodhaven next week in the regional quarterfinals.

Girls Soccer

Onsted 7, Dundee 0

DUNDEE — The Wildcats picked up win No. 10 on the season against the Vikings in LCAA play.

At 10-6, Onsted is assured a winning record for the first time in recent history.

Manchester 2, Lenawee Christian 1

ADRIAN — The Cougars battled with the Flying Dutch and came out with a one-goal loss.

Sam Shane helped keep LCS in the game by recording 14 saves. Callie Anderson scored the Cougars' goal.

FRIDAY

Baseball

Hudson at Blissfield (DH)

Hudson and Blissfield split the LCAA doubleheader with the Tigers taking Game 1, 8-4, before the host Royals won Game 2, 8-1.

KJ Walker led Hudson at the plate in Game 1 as went 2-for-5 with three runs while Liam Taylor was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Liam Timm got the win as he went 3.2 innings and gave up a run, on two hits and five walks while striking out two.

Tyler Ganun had two hits for Blissfield while Jack Deatrick took the loss.

Jon Cheney got the Royals a win in Game 1 with a complete game, giving up an unearned run, on five hits and no walks while striking out four. Cheney also hit a double as did Ganun and Blake Wood, who went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run. Deatrick added two hits.

Taylor took the loss in Game 2 for the Tigers.

Madison 5, Tecumseh 0

TECUMSEH — Brian Dopp had a four-hit game for the Trojans as they knocked off Tecumseh in a non-league game.

Dopp went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs while Nolan Matthews went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Cole Grof went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Bryson Ballantyne got the win, going four innings and giving up three hits and three walks with a strikeout. Grof added three shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk while striking out three.

Jeremy Bennett had two hits while Palmer Ziemer took the loss.

Adrian at Dundee

The Maples picked up a non-conference sweep against the Vikings, winning 1-0 and 9-0.

Sean Parker tossed five shutout innings in Game 1, allowing two hits and striking out six before Tristan Hayes tossed two hitless innings for the save.

Julius Robichaud got the win in Game 2, striking out seven in six innings while going 2-for-4 with a double. Tyler Bruggeman had two doubles while Parker and Solomon Hiatt each had two hits while Gary Kemerer doubled.

Sand Creek 7, Fayette 2

FAYETTE, Ohio — The Aggies won a non-league game across state lines in Ohio.

Jacob Kaufman went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, Carson Preston went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs and Mepham went 2-for-3 with a run.

Jordan Illenden went three innings and gave up an unearned run, on one hit and two walks while striking out four. Jacob Schamberger gave up a run, on two hits and no walks while striking out six in four innings.

Camden Frontier at Britton Deerfield (DH)

The Patriots split a home, non-league doubleheader as they lost Game 1, 6-3, before winning 2-0.

Logan Shiels got the complete game shutout in the win, giving up three hits and four walks while striking out five. Logan Smith drove in both runs.

Ryan Good took the loss in Game 1 while BD was held to two hits.

Softball

Addison at Hudson (DH)

The Tigers won a pair of non-league games against the visiting Panthers, 22-7 and 22-2.

Taylor Kopin went 1-for-1 with a grand slam and scored four runs in Game 1 while Dinah Horwath went 1-for-1 with a three-run home run and scored three runs. Malia Gayer went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and four runs, Ryen Rogers went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs and Amber Williams went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs.

Sam Anderson was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and five RBIs while Teagan Arredondo went 3-for-4 with a home run, double three RBIs and two runs. Brooke Clark was 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and three runs while Rogers was 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and three runs. Horwath went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs while Gayer 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs.

Keegan Schaffer got the win in Game 1 as she tossed 2.1 shutout innings, giving up two hits and no walks while striking out three. Arredondo got the win in Game 2.

Laci Patterson hit a double and drove in four for Addison in Game 1 and Lexi Patterson hit a home run in Game 2.

Manchester at Blissfield (DH)

The Royals won a pair of non-league games as they beat the Flying Dutch, 15-0 and 17-9.

Bella Treloar tossed four shutout innings in Game 1 with one hit and one walk while striking out eight while adding four hits with a triple, four RBIs and eight runs.

Mikayla Busdieker had three hits with a double and drove in five runs while Brooklyn Fetzer had three hits with two doubles and drove in three runs.

Leigh Wyman went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and two runs while Natalia Wilson had a double and five RBIs in Game 1 and Jessie White had two hits with a double, two RBIs and two runs in Game 2.

Genesis Elliott won Game 2 as she went 4.2 innings and gave up no runs, on three hits and four walks while striking out three.

Sand Creek at Fayette (Ohio), (DH)

The Aggies won a pair of non-league road games, winning 14-8 and 16-0.

Lily Hawkins tossed a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts while Emma Pifer went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and Maddie Osburn and Makenna Wheeler each had two hits.

Whiteford 4, Tecumseh 3

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh dropped a non-league game to Whiteford.

Wendy Ketola went 3-for-4 with a double while Laura Nadeau hit a two-run home run and Bella Juozapaitis went 2-for-4. Ally Feuerbacher took the loss.

Track and Field

East Jackson Dome Classic

Many Lenawee County teams participated at the East Jackson Dome Classic where the Madison girls were the top local team taking third overall and were also the top boys team in seventh.

The Grass Lake girls and Napoleon boys took the top spots.

Addison's Molly Brown won the girls 100 (12.84), 200 (26.16), high hurdles (15.15) and intermediate hurdles (46.49).

Madison's Christiana Allen, Madaline Goldmeyer, Nevaeh Parish and Jillian Kendrick won the 4x100 (51.61). Tatum Wilson joined Goldmeyer, Parish and Kendrick to win the 4x200 (1:47.47).

Boys Golf

TCC Jamboree at Woodlawn

ADRIAN — Lenawee Christian picked up another TCC Jamboree win as the Cougars shot a 170 followed by Whiteford at 176.

Britton Deerfield took third (196) followed by Summerfield (204), Sand Creek (207) and Erie Mason (215).

Connor Parisien took second overall shooting 37, one behind medalist Jess Saylor of Whiteford. Sand Creek's Jonathan Fisher and BD's Logan Shiels tied for third at 39 followed by Max Stamats (41) and Parker Bell (42) in fifth and sixth place.

Girls Tennis

Adrian 5, Hillsdale 3

HILLSDALE — Adrian won its sixth dual of the season as it beat the Hornets on the road.

Aniyah Yoder and Maya Awad picked up singles wins while Ryan Kominek and Renee Awad, Lauren Fisher and Clara Memon and Sydney Chesher and Caroline Hofflander all got doubles wins.

Detroit Cass Tech 8, Tecumseh 7

DETROIT — Tecumseh girls dropped a tight match for the regular season finale, falling by a goal.

Alexis Miller had three goals while Jazzy Reau had two and Jayden Polly and Emily Cuthbert each had one goal.

ANN ARBOR — Tecumseh dropped a non-conference game for a second-straight loss.

Tecumseh is 5-8-2 on the season.

Adrian College Wood Bat Classic

Onsted went 2-0 at the Wood Bat Classic at Nicolay Field, beating Jonesville, 4-2, and Napoleon, 12-1.

Quinn Hiram got the win against Jonesville, going 6.2 innings and giving up two runs, on three hits and four walks while striking out 12. Talan Hutchinson won Game 2, going five innings and giving up a run, on four hits and two walks while striking out five.

Hunter Kelley went 2-for-2 in Game 2 with two RBIs and two runs while Luke Manders drove in three.

Sand Creek Tournament

The Aggies won their home tournament, beating Hillsdale, 9-1, and Michigan Center, 9-0.

Ivan Wilkinson went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs while Parker Bowles went 2-for-4. Andon Sutherland went two innings and gave up a run, on two hits and two walks while striking out three.

Tyler Thompson hit a double with two RBIs in Game 2 while Dane Morrin tossed a shutout, giving up four hits and no walks while striking out five.

Whiteford Tournament

Clinton went 1-1 at the Whiteford tournament, falling to the host Bobcats, 2-1, before beating Plymouth Christian, 7-1.

Jalen Stelzer got the win as he went four shutout innings and gave up a hit and four walks while striking out two. Cole Breitenwischer went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI while Quinn Walden went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run.

Clinton was held hitless in Game 1 while Walden and Dacari Garrison went 6.2 innings and gave up two unearned runs on two hits and four walks while striking out four.

Sylvania Northview 4, Blissfield 0

SYLVANIA, Ohio — The Royals took a non-conference loss in Ohio.

Kipp Fisher took the loss as he went four innings and gave up three runs, on two walks while striking out one.

East Jackson Tournament

Morenci went 0-2 at the East Jackson Invite, falling 7-4 to the host Trojans before losing to Springport, 9-3.

Jonas Castillo took the loss in Game 1 Zachary Stevens and Talan Kruse each hit doubles with an RBI while Avery Kaiser had two hits.

Softball

Sand Creek Tournament

The Aggies no-hit Hillsdale in Game 1, winning 15-2, before beating Michigan Center, 6-0.

Makenna Wheeler and Lily Hawkins combined for the no-hitter while Maddie Osburn and Wheeler each went 2-for-3 with Osburn driving in two and Carley Allen had two RBIs.

Claire Pickens struck out six and got the win in Game 2 and had three hits with an inside the park home run.

Tecumseh at Trenton (DH)

Tecumseh dropped a pair to Trenton on the road, 9-1 and 11-4.

Ally Feuerbacher took the loss while Lucy Whelan and Wendy Ketola had two hits and Laura Nadeau hit a double.

Ella Sattler took the loss in Game 2 while Whelan had two more hits with a triple while Bella Juozapaitis went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and two doubles. Emma Leitner and Emma Eldred each hit doubles.

Whiteford Tournament

Clinton took on Chelsea and Whiteford in the Whiteford tournament, falling in both games, 13-9 against the Bulldogs and 3-2 against the host Bobcats.

Breanna Broman took the loss in Game 1 while Taryn Hernandez went 3-for-3 with an RBI while Kylinn Long went 3-for-3. Hernandez took the loss in Game 2 and went 2-for-4 while Raven Aldridge went 2-for-3 with a double and Kendall Phillip and Kyleigh Ramos each hit doubles.

East Jackson Tournament

Morenci dropped a pair at East Jackson and lost 4-3 to the host Trojans while Jackson Lumen Christi tossed a no-hitter against the Bulldogs, 11-0.

Chelsea Pierce, Rylee Frederick and Gracie Snead each had two hits.

Track and Field

Hillsdale Jack Beilfuss Invite

The Onsted boys won the Jack Beilfuss Invite while the Blissfield girls took fourth.

Mitchell Hiatt won the 1,600 (4:27.98) and 3,200 (9:39.52) while Aidan Paquin won the 100 (11.42) and Griffin Amthor won the 200 (23.17). Cannon Ruffkofsky, Connor Kish, Paquin and Amthor won the 4x200 (1:32.40).

Onsted's Emmry Ross won the 400 (57.90), 800 (2:15.17) and 1,600 (5:03.01) before being joined by Hadley Ross, Alison England and Raegan Brosamer to win the 4x800 (10:17.40).

Erie Mason Invite

Clinton competed at the Erie Mason Invite where Mason Brodie won the shot put.

The junior won with a throw of 52-00.25.

Girls Soccer

Adrian Invite

The Maples defeated Armada and Walled Lake Central to win their home invite.

Tatum Borton scored six goals on the day while Sienna Gauna and Jaleigh Niese scored twice and Cassidy Hawken scored once.
