Legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully hospitalized after fall at home
Legendary Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully is in the hospital after falling at his home Tuesday. The fall, while worrisome, doesn’t appear to be too serious, as the Dodgers said Scully was “resting comfortably” Thursday.
Scully, 92, even joked about the incident, saying he’s never been a fan of head-first slides.

It’s been three seasons since Scully called games for the Dodgers. After spending 67 years as the team’s announcer, Scully retired following the 2016 season. He’s made one or two appearances at Dodger Stadium the past few seasons, but hasn’t called a game since retiring.
