LeBron James' son, Bryce James, debuts Ja Morant's Nike EYBL player-exclusive Ja 1s

Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James, made quite a splash Saturday in Memphis.

Suiting up for Team Strive For Greatness at Session 4 of the Nike EYBL season, James and some of his teammates debuted the latest player-exclusive colorway of Ja Morant's signature Nike sneaker, dubbed the "EYBL" Ja 1's. The newest model features one blue shoe and one dark purple, both with tie-dyed, predominantly pastel swooshes.

James came on strong late in his team's win over Vegas Elite at the Memphis Sports and Events Center and finishing with 9 points.

JA MORANT: Ja Morant's latest sneaker sells out on SNKRS app, but supply scarce in Memphis retail stores

The Ja 1 sneakers have become a hot commodity, and each release has lived up to the hype with quick sellouts.

Earlier this week, Morant's latest sneakers available to the general public were released on the SNKRS app and sold out in minutes. But several local retail stores that received the previous two versions of Morant's new shoe line had yet to get the Ja 1 "Hunger" model, multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation told The Commercial Appeal.

Morant is currently suspended from Grizzlies team activities after Instagram Live video of him brandishing an apparent gun surfaced May 14. The NBA is investigating the video and could hand the all-star point guard a significant suspension to start next season. Morant was suspended eight games in March after an initial Instagram Live video also showed him with a gun in a Colorado nightclub.
