Headlines

Party like it's 2003

Adrian honored the 20th anniversary of its 2003 season where the Maples won the SEC Red title by going 9-0 in the regular season.

It's the last time the Maples went undefeated as they've had three one-loss regular seasons since in 2005, 09 and 10.

Members of the team were announced at halftime of the 29-7 victory against rival Tecumseh.

What better way to honor the team then doing it again? Adrian is currently 4-0 for the first time since 2010.

Panthers on the prowl

Addison remains as the top-scoring team in the state despite only dropping 50 points this week in a 50-28 win against Columbia Central.

The Panthers dropped from 56.7 points per game to an even 55, which remains ahead of Ithaca's 54 and Fowler's 53.75.

Spencer Brown tallied 108 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns to lead the attack this week.

Previewng the races

Halftime in Week 5 will mark the official halfway point of the regular season.

Adrian is in the mix for the SEC White title with a big game at Chelsea this week as the two are 2-0 in league play and Jackson at home in Week 6.

Addison has looked like the dominate team in the Cascades Conference West Division, which will give them a shot at the East champ in the first Cascades Conference championship game.

Blissfield, Clinton and Hudson are all 2-0 in the LCAA with the Royals and Redwolves meeting this week in what has become an marquee matchup in the league race.

TCC play begins this week with Sand Creek facing the champions, Whiteford, on the road to kick it off.

Lenawee Christian and Pittsford are on a collision course for the Southern Michigan 8-Man League East Division title. Both are unbeaten and will meet Week 8 in Adrian.
