Leaky Black answers questions for the Atlanta Hawks during pre-draft workout
UNC’s Leaky Black has continued through the pre-draft workout cycle, lacing up with different teams around the NBA.
The NBA draft is 22 days away, and Black has been busy working out with teams like the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics. Black also received a G League Combine invite, helping boost his presence in the draft process.
Black pre-draft workouts continued, recently having one with the Atlanta Hawks. While at the workout the 23-year-old was shown answering some fun questions about his time at UNC and what’s next for him on the NBA level.

Black was a pivotal piece of the UNC basketball team, using his stout defense as a focal point of his game. He has shown the flexibility to fit in different offensive schemes, boosting his draft stock.
The biggest question is if Black can become a reliable three-point shooter. The defensive ability is clear. However, adding the offensive threat to become a modernized three and D guy would be perfect for today’s NBA teams.
