The latest MIAA Power Rankings are out. Where do Greater Taunton area teams stand?

The final MIAA Power Rankings of the Spring 2024 season were released Friday morning.

As it stands, 14 Greater Taunton-area teams are on pace to qualify for their respective tournaments. Three teams are outside of the top 32 but are set to qualify based on record. One local team returned to the top of its division after a couple of weeks outside of the No. 1 spot. Power rankings for boys and girls tennis were not updated from Tuesday as their tournaments are being seeded Saturday.

All teams ranked in the top 32 of their division, as well as any team ranked below 32 with a record of .500 or better, will qualify for their division's respective tournament.

Here's how things stand as of Friday morning:

Baseball

Division 1: In- Taunton (6); Out- Bridgewater-Raynham (45)

Division 2: Out- Bristol-Plymouth (48)

Division 3: In- Dighton-Rehoboth (10)

Softball

Division 1: In- Taunton (3), Bridgewater-Raynham (12)

Division 2: In- Bristol-Plymouth (35)

Division 3: In- Dighton-Rehoboth (1)
