Lane Kiffin says wearing AirPods pregame is often a decoy. He doesn't want to be hassled

Kiffin revealed Saturday prior to the 2022 Sugar Bowl that frequently there isn't anything playing in those AirPods.
"Half the time I just wear them so people think I'm listening to music, so they don't stop me," Kiffin said on the Ole Miss radio broadcast.
Kiffin's response came after being asked by Ole Miss radio broadcaster Richard Cross if he was listening to something to hype him up for the game.
"I don't have to play," Kiffin said of being hyped up. "That's more a player thing."
