Lane Kiffin praises Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian at SEC media days
SEC media days is taking place this week in Nashville, Tennessee.
Texas has been a popular topic for head coaches this week as the Longhorns are set to join the SEC in 2024. One head coach in particular praised Texas’ Steve Sarkisian for the job he has done in Austin.
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin discussed his relationship with Sarkisian while on the podium. Kiffin and Sarkisian’s relationship dates back to their time with the USC Trojans under Pete Carroll.
“I think he’s doing awesome there. You know, the way he’s flipped the roster and recruiting at such a high level, and signing Arch [Manning], I think the future is extremely bright for Texas football.”
Sarkisian appears to be doing all the right things as the head coach of Texas, but ultimately the Longhorns must produce results on the field this season.
