Lakers to be without LeBron James when they take on Bucks

The Los Angeles Lakers will begin a tough 6-game road trip on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks and they will be without their superstar leader for this tough matchup.

LeBron James, who has been dealing with a nagging left ankle issue, has officially been downgraded to out against the Bucks. The Lakers will miss his ability to take games over in the blink of an eye, but LA has put up a respectable 5-4 record on the season when James doesn’t play.

In fact, the Lakers beat the Bucks back on March 8 without James thanks to the heroics of D’Angelo Russell. Russell had 44 points including knocking down the game-winner to give the Lakers a 123-122 win.

Tip off from the Fiserv Forum is set for 4:30 p.m. PDT as LA looks to work its way out of the play-in tournament. The Lakers are three games back of the Sacramento Kings who reside as the No. 6 seed in the West.
