Lakers vs. Celtics: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Saturday

The NBA’s richest rivalry will add another chapter on Saturday night as the Los Angeles Lakers’ season-long road trip brings them to Boston to face off against the Celtics. While it isn’t an NBA Finals matchup, the Celtics were one round away from meeting the Lakers in last year’s Finals and they could be in a position to make the Finals once again this season.

The Celtics have issues and most notably, they had a coronavirus issue that kept Jayson Tatum out of the lineup for two weeks. During that time the Celtics also had an injury scare to rookie guard Payton Prichard, who will be out a few weeks.

Offensively, the Lakers likely will not face a better wing tandem this season, save for when they play the Clippers than Boston’s duo of Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Brown has been a revelation this season, taking his 3-point shooting and playmaking to a new level, averaging career highs in points (27.1) and assists (3.5) per game. The Celtics are also working star guard Kemba Walker into the lineup as he recovers from a knee injury.

Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:

Probable starting lineups

Boston Celtics (10-7)

Los Angeles Lakers (14-6)
