Kyle Busch has accomplished just about everything a driver can accomplish in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Except the Daytona 500.
Busch is 0-for-18 heading into Monday's race at Daytona International Speedway. The 38-year-old has won 63 Cup races and two Cup titles, but not the 500. He has three top-5s, including a runner-up finish, in The Great American Race.

Busch has not won the Daytona 500 in 18 attempts over 19 seasons. Monday's race will be Busch's 19th Daytona 500.
Has Kyle Busch had any close calls at the Daytona 500?
A handful.
Busch was in the mix in 2007 and 2008, crashing on the final lap in 2007 and getting caught behind a couple cars in the draft on the final lap in 2008. He also led 88 laps in the rain-shortened 2009 Daytona 500 but crashed about 30 laps before the abbreviated finish. Busch also finished 3rd in 2016 and 2nd in 2019.
