Knoxville Super Regional schedule in the NCAA Softball Tournament: Tennessee vs Texas
Tennessee softball will host Texas in the Knoxville Super Regional of the NCAA Tournament with a spot in the Women's College World Series on the line.
The best-of-three series starts Friday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
Tennessee has not reached Oklahoma City since 2015.
The No. 4-seeded Lady Vols (47-8) and No. 13-seeded Texas (45-13-1) were scheduled to play on Feb. 11 in Clearwater, Florida, but the game was rained out.
Texas leads the all-time series 5-3. The two teams last played in on Feb. 14, 2020 in Mexico with the Longhorns winning 11-0 in five innings. The Lady Vols are 2-1 against Texas in games played in Knoxville.
