Coverage from the game:

Ray Davis' historic performance overshadowed all Kentucky football did in win over Florida

Coverage during the game:

LEXINGTON — After hitting the road last week, Kentucky is back at Kroger Field for the fourth time in five games, hosting Florida, which is ranked No. 22 in the latest Associated Press poll and No. 23 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

UK (4-0, 1-0 SEC), which is a 1 ½-point home favorite, has won two straight meetings against Florida (3-1, 1-0). The Wildcats are seeking their first three-game win streak in the series since a four-game run under Bear Bryant from 1948 through 1951.

The Courier Journal's Ryan Black and Scott Utterback are at Kroger Field and will have live updates throughout the game — here and on X, formerly known as Twitter — and complete coverage after. You can follow them on X at @RyanABlackand @Utterback13.

FINAL: Kentucky 33, Florida 14

Wildcat kicker Alex Raynor is true on a 50-yard field goal. It's the longest field goal of Raynor's college career.

Kentucky 30, Florida 14 (3Q, 7:17)

Gator QB Graham Mertz throws his second touchdown of the game, connecting with Ricky Pearsall on a 33-yard strike.

Kentucky 30, Florida 7 (3Q, 10:54)

Ray Davis starts the second half the same way he ended the first: by tallying more rushing yards and scoring touchdown. He pushed the Wildcats' lead to 23 after a 2-yard run in the third period.

HALFTIME: Kentucky 23, Florida 7

Impressive start: Ray Davis, leading UK vs. Florida, posts career-high showing in 1st half

Florida avoids a first-half shutout as Graham Mertz finds Hayden Hansen for a 4-yard score.

Kentucky 23, Florida 0 (2Q, 8:54)

The Ray Davis Show continues, as he scores on a 3-yard run for his third touchdown of the day. He already has rushed for a career-high yardage total (206) and scored two touchdowns on 11 carries. He's averaging 18.7 yards per carry so far. He's the ninth Wildcat ever to eclipse 200 rushing yards in a single game.

Kentucky 16, Florida 0 (1Q, 0:23)

Ray Davis makes Florida pay for another miscue: The Gators had forced a three-and-out, but on the punt, Dijon Johnson was flagged for leaping, which gave the ball back to UK. One play later, Davis dashed 75 yards to the end zone. Florida's Devin Moore blocked Alex Raynor's extra-point attempt and returned it 13 yards.

Kentucky 10, Florida 0 (1Q, 5:37)

The Wildcats capitalized on an interception from Gator quarterback Graham Mertz, taking just two plays to put it in the end zone. Running back Ray Davis scored on a 9-yard reception, carrying Florida corner Jalen Kimber with him across the goal line.

Kentucky 3, Florida 0 (1Q, 7:13)

Wildcat kicker Alex Raynor gave the hosts the first points of today's game, connecting on a 24-yard field goal. But UK could have had more: one play before the field goal, sophomore receiver Barion Brown was wide open but couldn't haul in Devin Leary's pass for a 7-yard score.
