Kendall Jenner on the one thing that 'keeps her up at night'

From the clothes they wear to the workouts they do in the gym, there's no denying that we can often take a lot of inspiration from our favourite celebrities. And that's true even when it comes to bedtime routines, as Kendall Jenner just shared hers.

Speaking to Vogue, Kendall went into detail about her sleep rituals, and opened up about the one thing that often keeps her up at night. "My anxiety," she responded when asked what stands in her way of a good night's sleep. "I have struggled with anxiety for years and it can have good and bad days. If I need to wind down, I really make a point to take 15 minutes to meditate to settle my anxiety."

As for what else she does to "wind down in the evenings", Kendall said: "I usually drink tea and relax by reading a book or writing in my journal." And that's not all, as she says avoiding her phone in the run up to bed time has worked wonders, too. "I’m trying to get better about keeping my phone near my bed at night," the 26-year-old said. "I usually try to avoid looking at my phone at least an hour before heading to bed."

And it seems the second-youngest KarJenner sibling has plenty of sleep tricks up her sleeve, as she also pointed out that having the right surroundings can really have an impact. "I burn the MAD et LEN candle in my bedroom, it smells amazing. The one I always buy is black champaka, it fills the air with a comforting, warm aroma," she said, adding that: "My blackout curtains are amazing. If I have the time to sleep in, I will always take that opportunity."

Sadly, she admits, the opportunity to sleep in isn't a regular occurrence. "During the week and when I’m at home, I usually go to bed around the same time. When I travel, it’s much harder to live by that bedtime, but I try. I find it keeps me consistent," the supermodel turned business owner revealed. "I usually have work every day, so [I set an] alarm! I also love getting up early to ride my horse, so most of the time I set an alarm. But every so often, I love to change it up and just sleep in a little bit."
