Keion Brooks out for UK basketball vs. North Florida, but two other Wildcats are back

LEXINGTON - Kentucky basketball is set to return two injured players for its Friday game versus North Florida, but another normal starter is unavailable.

Junior forward Keion Brooks was a late scratch for the game with an illness, a UK spokesman confirmed just before the 7 p.m. tipoff. Meanwhile, junior forward Jacob Toppin (shoulder) and sophomore forward Lance Ware (ankle) made their returns after multiple-game absences in the first half.

Toppin had not played since the season-opening loss to Duke. Ware attempted to play in game No. 2 against Robert Morris but lasted just one minute before returning to the bench due to the injury and had not played in the last three games.
