The world famous supermodel announced that she’s expecting her first child with the Houston Astros All-Star pitcher in an Instagram post early Saturday.

The photo shows Upton standing on a balcony in Miami with a caption that simply reads: #PregnantinMiami.

Upton and Verlander were married in an extravagant wedding that took place on Nov. 4 in Italy.

Three days prior, Verlander’s Astros brought home the franchise’s first ever World Series championship with a Game 7 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Upton was among the very first people on the field at Dodger Stadium to celebrate with Verlander and his teammates.

Unfortunately, the couple was forced to miss the Astros championship parade because they’d planned their wedding while Verlander was still pitching for the Detroit Tigers.

The expecting couple first went public with their relationship in 2014. Their engagement was revealed at the 2016 Met Gala when Upton proudly showed off her new ring.

Verlander, 34, was selected to his seventh All-Star Game last weekend, but will not pitch for the American League on Tuesday. He’ll instead make his final scheduled start for Houston on Sunday afternoon. Needless to say, he has plenty to celebrate right now away from the baseball diamond.
