Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Same-game parlay for Monday Night Football

Super Bowl 57 was another exciting title game this past February. The Kansas City Chiefs scored the go-ahead field goal with eight seconds left to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.

So, how about round two?

Monday Night Football pits the Chiefs (7-2) against the Eagles (8-1) against each other once again, this time in Kansas City. The two teams have been the class of their conferences again this fall. Despite a rare loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 7, Kansas City leads the AFC conference standings. The Eagles' sole blemish so far in 2023 is a loss to the New York Jets.

Week 11 wraps up on MNF with a battle between two of the best teams in the league. The Eagles' top-three scoring offense takes on the Chiefs' stout defense that's ranked second in points allowed this season. It'll likely be a close battle thanks to the star power on the field. Some of those stars make for a same-game parlay we like for Monday Night Football.

Chiefs-Eagles Same Game Parlay Bet for Monday Night Football Week 11

All odds are courtesy of DraftKings as of Saturday.

Philadelphia Eagles RB D'Andre Swift OVER 55.5 rushing yards (-115)

The Chiefs have one of the best defenses in the NFL by points allowed. But when it comes to yards, Kansas City is far from the most stout unit in the league. The Chiefs are allowing 112 rushing yards per game - 16th in the NFL. That's one of the worse units Philadelphia will face this season.

The Eagles are eighth in the league in rushing yards per game this season. It may be hard for Swift to find the end zone given quarterback Jalen Hurts' penchant for goal-line sneaks for scores. Yards, on the other hand, may be available in bunches for the Eagles' running backs.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes OVER 285.5 passing yards (-115)

The Eagles' defense has taken a slight step back in 2023, especially in pass defense. They're allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game in the league (257) going up against the likes of Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, and Baker Mayfield. Not the most prolific offenses on the schedule.

Mahomes had an off week last time out against the Dolphins with a season-low 185 yards. He'll get back on track this week on Monday Night Football against a pass defense that's allowed plenty of yards. Chiefs coach Andy Reid is notoriously good after a bye week and Mahomes will benefit from that.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce ANYTIME TD SCORER (-110)

The Eagles' pass defense has been especially susceptible to talented tight ends. Philadelphia's allowed a tight end to score in four games this season including the last two featuring the likes of Logan Thomas and Jake Ferguson. While those are both talented players, they're nowhere near the impact player Kelce is.

Kelce's had a couple of off games, going scoreless against Miami and Denver and combining for just 72 yards receiving in those games. But like Mahomes, he'll benefit from a coach Reid bye week and take advantage of a weakness in the Philadelphia pass defense.

Other bets to consider:

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown OVER 6.5 catches (-120)

The Chiefs' defense faced a talented wide receiver corps in their win over Miami. In that contest, Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins' lead receiver, had eight catches on 10 targets. Kansas City's defensive backs aren't afraid to get physical and that'll play into Brown's hands. He's up to the challenge to play physically and, with tight end Dallas Goedert out in this one, can be the physical receiver Hurts relies on to move the chains.

Kansas City Chiefs DL Chris Jones OVER 0.75 sacks (-105)

The Eagles are middle-of-the-pack offensively in sacks allowed with 22. The Chiefs defense has tallied 31 sacks this season, third-most in the league. If this game comes down to a close few possessions in the fourth quarter, stars will need to step up. That's exactly what Jones brings to the table late in games and he'll find his way to Hurts.
