Kaden Martin enters NCAA transfer portal
Miami freshman outfielder Kaden Martin entered the NCAA transfer portal Tuesday.
Martin appeared in two games for the Hurricanes in 2023. He went 0-3 with two strikeouts this season.
He played baseball at Catholic High School in Knoxville, Tennessee from 2019-21 before transferring to Buford High School in Buford, Georgia.
As a pitcher, outfielder and leadoff hitter at Catholic, Martin was an all-state performer and a 2019 District 4-AAA Rookie of the Year.
He also played quarterback for Catholic.
Martin is the son of former Tennessee national champion quarterback and former Vols’ assistant football coach Tee Martin.
