Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer spotted at Cincinnati restaurant day before loss to Reds
New York Mets players were spotted dining at a popular local steakhouse earlier this week.
The team held a dinner in the Gatsby Room at the Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse location near Fountain Square on Monday, according to a tweet from Ruby. The local restaurateur posted a photo of Mets pitchers Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer and Kodai Senga with pastry chef Eric Clark and another employee, thanking the team for its patronage.
"Our staff was delighted to 'Meet The Mets' and greet the Mets. Best wishes from Jersey Jeff Ruby and our incredible team," Ruby wrote.
