Justin Pugh of NY Giants has legendary intro on Sunday Night Football

Forget couch to 5K. Justin Pugh is going couch to starting against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football.

The New York Giants offensive guard uttered one of the best primetime introductions in NFL history: "Justin Pugh, straight off the couch."

New York's offensive line has been decimated by injuries and poor play. Pugh was reunited with the Giants after signing with their practice squad earlier this month. New York used him at three different positions in the first quarter.

Pugh got his first start of the season Sunday, almost one year to the day that he tore his ACL as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

Pugh was a three-year starter at Syracuse University.

He was drafted by the Giants in the first round, No. 19 overall, in the 2013 NFL Draft. Pugh spent five seasons with New York before inking a five-year, $45 million contract with Arizona in 2018.
