Justin Kaye is ready for January official visits, February commitment

New Jersey offensive lineman Justin Kaye is eyeing up several

In early October, Rutgers offered Kaye as a Preferred Walk On (PWO). The relationship has steadily grown between the Big Ten program and the offensive lineman.

He holds offers from Long Island and New Hampshire.

Kaye, is a 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive tackle from Toms River North (Toms River, New Jersey). He plans to take several official visits in January. He hopes to commit on or before February 7.

Nothing is set yet, but Kaye plans to visit his top schools, which currently consist of five programs.

“Currently my top schools are Rutgers, Boston College, Penn State, Marist and UPenn,” Kaye told Rutgers Wire.

UPenn has yet to offer but he has already taken an official visit at the Ivy League program.

As for Rutgers, Kaye has visited the Scarlet Knights several times throughout the fall. His teammate, Jaelyne Matthews, a four-star offensive lineman in the 2024 class, is also being recruited by Rutgers.

“I truly believe in what coach Schiano is building in Piscataway,” Kaye said.

“Also, it was one of my dream schools growing up in Jersey!”

The message from Rutgers, Kaye said, is “That they believe in my ability and that I can earn a place in the program.”

A strong student, Kaye is looking for good academics in his college choice. But on the field, he is looking to be pushed while being in a family environment.

“I look for coaches and staff that will be hard on you but will love you like your their own son,” Kaye said.
