JUCO Women: Undefeated Temple cruises past Jacksonville College
Dec. 12—Temple College had little difficulty in defeating Jacksonville College, 94-45, Monday at the Curtis Carroll Fieldhouse.
Leading 41-29 to start the second half, the Lady Leopards (11-0) held the Lady Jaguars (2-7) to 16 points in the final 20:00 to win going away.
One bright spot for JC was the play of Shantel Brydson, who exploded for 20 points.
Grace Okih added seven points and a team-high 10 rebounds while Keasia Robinson scored seven points and pulled down an equal number of boards.
JC is scheduled to wrap up the pre-Christmas portion of its schedule with a 6 p.m. game tonight in Lancaster where they will face Dallas College-Cedar Valley.
