Josh Harris group, which includes Magic Johnson, submits $6B bid for Commanders

Daniel Snyder could be moving closer to selling the Washington Commanders. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the group led by Josh Harris and Mitchell Rales has submitted a fully financed bid of $6 billion to buy the Commanders, which meets Snyder’s asking price.

NBA legend Magic Johnson is also part of that group vying to buy the team. He reportedly joined the group a week ago.

Harris also owns the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, and is now looking to add an NFL team to his portfolio. Now Harris and his group will wait to find out if Snyder accepts their bid.
