Josh Allen sets Bills completion record vs. Rams

Josh Allen started his 2022 campaign with the Buffalo Bills in midseason form.

Allen was a big reason why the Bills rolled the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, 31-10.

But Allen was not just in midseason form, he was in record-setting form.

During the contest, Allen completed an impressive 83.9 percent of his passes. That was good for a new team record in terms of a single-game completion percentage.

Allen finished the night 26-for-31 passing against the Rams. That was only the start.

The QB, in total, had 297 passing yards, three touchdowns, plus another 56 yards and another score on the ground.

Helping Allen achieve his completion percent was his game starting with 10-straight completions. He looked to be in line to continue that streak, but a pass went through the hands of wideout Isaiah McKenzie which lead to an interception.

Allen ended up finishing up with two interceptions in Los Angeles. He’ll want to clean that up, but it’s tough to imagine the Bills being very upset about the way he played.
