Johnny Manziel appears to be making a move out of the public spotlight.

The former Cleveland Browns quarterback who recently sought to revive his career in the CFL and AAF deleted all of his Instagram posts on Monday.

The social media page with its 1.8 million followers still exists. But as of Monday evening it contained his avatar photo, a link to his “ComebackSZN” gear store, a message reading “No Posts Yet” and nothing more.

His Twitter account remains active, with his last activity a retweet on Thursday.

Manziel made Instagram apology to wife Saturday

On Saturday, Manziel made a public apology on Instagram to his estranged wife Bre Tiesi, who confirmed in March that the two had split up.

"There would be no life for me without you having come into mine. Through everything we've overcome I just want to say I'm sorry. For not being there more and doing what I can to make you truly happy. You deserve it all and then some. Love ya for life."

That post, like the rest of his posts, has been deleted.

Manziel previously asked for privacy

Manziel told TMZ in March that the situation was “very personal and very sad” while asking for privacy.

"This is all very, very personal and very sad," Manziel said. ... "I appreciate everyone who has been so supportive of both of us and I would just ask that everyone respect our privacy at this difficult time."

It appears that Manziel, 26 and also working on reviving his football career, is now taking personal steps to keep his relationship concerns private.
