Christmas day gave ball-handling aficionados a prime-time point guard matchup with John Wall and Kyrie Irving going head to head.

The game ended up providing one the more entertaining on-court exchanges of the season after Wall bricked a would-be highlight dunk and caught flak from a wired Irving later in the game.

“You missed your highlight,” Irving trolled while defending Wall.

But the Wall and the Washington Wizards got the upper hand late, punctuated by Wall’s theft of Irving late in the fourth quarter that led to an easy bucket on the other end.

The play came in the middle of a 12-0 Wizards run that saw them rally from a 95-90 deficit for a 111-103 win over the Celtics in Boston.

Wall ended the game with 21 points, 14 assists and five rebounds, along with the last laugh over his backcourt counterpart.
