Joe Burrow is training with a ball from Super Bowl LVI
After losing the Super Bowl, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow revealed that losing a state championship when he was younger was the worst day of his life.
He said losing that Super Bowl felt very similar.
Burrow, not known for exaggerating or shying away despite his platform, appears to be taking that loss and funneling it as motivation even while he’s on a break before training camp. He’s off training with Jordan Palmer again and thanks to an image he shared on an Instagram story, we’ve got a glimpse of what he’s using.
Astute onlookers pointed out that he’s using a Super Bowl ball:
