Jhonkensy Noel hits 9th-inning grand slam; Columbus Clippers top Toledo Mud Hens in 10

Wednesday's game: Columbus 11, Toledo 10

Recap: The Clippers' Jhonkensy Noel hit a grand slam with two outs in the ninth inning to tie the game 9-9, and Columbus won it in the 10th. After the Mud Hens took a 10-9 lead in the top of the 10th, Daniel Schneeman's two-out double scored Raynel Delgado. Schneeman then scored on a single by Oscar Gonzalez for the win. Schneemann was 4 for 6 with a homer, his sixth of the year, and Gonzalez was 3 for 5. Colt Keith and Parker Meadows homered for Toledo. Keith was 3 for 4.The Mud Hens used a five-run eighth inning to take a 9-5 lead. Meadows had an RBI single before Justyn-Henry Malloy hit a three-run double. Keith the singled in Malloy to make it 9-5. In the Clippers' ninth, Schneeman singled with one out and moved to second on a groundout by Gonzalez. Schneeman moved to third on a passed ball before Zack Collins and George Valera walked. Noel then hit his 14th homer of the season.
