Here's the latest Jets buzz heading into the 2023 NFL Draft...

April 10, 9:15 p.m.

Michigan tight end Luke Schoonmaker has a pre-NFL Draft visit with the Jets, per a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Schoonmaker, a 6-foot-5 Senior, played 23 games with the Wolverines. The 24-year-old had 418 receiving yards on 35 catches with three touchdowns in 2022 in 12 games.

Schoonmaker will also visit with the Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions, according to Fowler.

LSU defensive end BJ Ojulari will make a Top 30 visit with the Jets on Tuesday, according to a report from NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

Ojulari, who measured 6-foot-2, 248 pounds, had 58 tackles (36 solo) with 5.5 sacks a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 11 games for the Tigers last season and took home first-team All-SEC honors. He has 16.5 sacks in 31 games during three college seasons.

Ojulari, a 21-year-old junior, will also visit with Tampa Bay (19th overall pick), Carolina (1st overall), and Houston (2nd overall) after, per Rapoport. He is the younger brother of Giants outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari, who was drafted in the second round in 2021.

Several recent mock drafts have him being selected in the range of picks No. 29-32.

Georgia's Broderick Jones has been linked to the Jets in many mock drafts, and now Gang Green will get an up-close look at the offensive tackle.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Jones has pre-draft visits lined up with the Jets, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears.

Jones, the starting left tackle on the Bulldogs' 2022 national title team, has a great combination of size and athleticism at 6-foot-5, 311 pounds.

Adding a tackle in the first round seems like an obvious move for the Jets, and with four or five tackles projected to go in the first round and quarterback-needy teams at the top of the draft, they're in a good spot to grab a talented tackle.
