Jayson Tatum highlights: Boston Celtics star goes off for 44 points, 9 boards, 6 assists vs. Los Angeles Lakers
It really looked like it was over for the Boston Celtics late in their road game with the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, with the Celtics poised to have their first three-game skid of the 2022-23 NBA season. But star Boston forward Jayson Tatum wasn’t having any of that, and with Jaylen Brown and his teammates, lead a furious comeback to answer their own collapse of what had been as much as a 20-point lead in the game’s third quarter.
The St. Louis native exploded for 44 points (the 15th 40-point game of his career), 9 rebounds, and 6 assists on a sizzling 15-of-29 shooting including going 5-of-10 from beyond the arc and a near-perfect 9-of-10 from the charity stripe.
If you missed the game or just want to revel in some Tatum-fueled Laker fan tears, check out the clip of the Duke alum’s highlights from Boston’s 122-118 win over the LA last night.
